Diary photo audit

# Diary photo audit — 14 October 2026

All ten original photos and all ten clearer retakes were inspected. Retakes verify the same pages; they are not additional holdings. Enlarged/rotated crops were used. The owner confirmed the orange page is Rs1500 and clearly crossed-through digits mean no longer owned. Adjacent ticks, circles and X-like marks alone are not cancellations.

This report does not claim 100% verification while marker meaning or digits remain unclear. Uncertain entries are preserved but inactive.

## Current source audit summary

379 preserved records: 357 confirmed active, 0 inactive for review and 22 excluded cancelled records. Active recorded quantity is 3,740 at default quantity 1. Owner resolved quantity annotations: circled 2 is ignored and 737693 is a reference, not extra quantity. Actual clearly cancelled inscriptions remain excluded evidence, never active holdings.

Counts are records, not all inscriptions on a page. Legible records with disputed ownership/line meaning are inactive. Candidate inscriptions that were never accepted are still documented below.

## Proven changes and restored omissions

- Photo 4, column 2 row 6: **912538 → 912539**. The separate **912538** at row 7 was omitted previously and is restored as a separate record.
- Photo 4, column 3 row 5: **653685 → 633685**.
- Photo 8, column 3 row 3: **242096 → 242996**; excluded under the owner-confirmed cancellation rule.
- Photo 8, column 2 row 15: **206501 → 206901**; excluded under the owner-confirmed cancellation rule.
- Photo 3, column 2 rows 13 and 14 both show **609313**. Both handwritten occurrences are retained.
- Retakes resolve previously omitted singles: Photo 2 C4 R8 **847916**; Photo 4 C4 R8 **080054** and R9 **763722**; Photo 6 C3 numbered R7 **171173**; Photo 8 C3 R8 **337390** and R9 **337779** (last two excluded under the owner-confirmed cancellation rule).
- Photo 1 range 4 **730701–730800** is owner-confirmed held and active.
- Photo 5 **979140–979148** was previously represented as one range; restored as nine separately written singles, without changing quantity.
- Retakes clearly resolve **529045, 640098, 502451, 371880, 974882, 663565**. These exact numbers are retained; where a long-line group remains disputed its group status controls matching.

No provisional **912573 → 910573** change was published. The clearer retake reads 912573; owner confirmation was requested because of the conflicting earlier reading. The owner then explicitly confirmed 912573 is correct and held. It is active.

## Clear cancellation inscriptions: never match

Photo 8: middle crossed-through candidate **669166**, bottom-right crossed **664576** and **984995**, plus crossed header **984995**. The crossed **25000** inscription has five digits and is not treated as a serial. Their digit readings are only evidence of inactive inscriptions, not newly added bonds.

Photo 3: visibly struck-through **775783**, lower-right struck-through inscriptions, and illegible crossed-out previous values stay outside matching. Unknown denominations are not assigned by guesswork.

## Long-line blocks: cancellation confirmed by owner

An earlier provisional interpretation treated 18 Photo 8 entries as cancelled. That interpretation was stopped before publication. A very thin continuous/sloping line can be a grouping/cover mark rather than cancellation. The owner subsequently explicitly confirmed that these entire listed row blocks are no longer owned. The following are now preserved as EXCLUDED evidence and never count or match:

- Photo 8 middle column rows 11–19: **897181, 911414, 952522, 203958, 206901, 212822, 219379, 220376, 236111**.
- Photo 8 right column rows 1–12: **236477, 238510, 242996, 249215, 256535, 330045, 333997, 337390, 337779, 334000, 334025, 360602**.

Cancellation is resolved for all 21 listed records. No endpoint-based numeric range was expanded. Of these, 19 were previously active seed records; 337390 and 337779 were previously omitted/unaccepted and are retained only as excluded evidence.

## Compact unresolved confirmations

1. RESOLVED: all 21 Photo 8 long-line records are cancelled/no longer owned.
2. RESOLVED: owner explicitly confirmed **912573** is correct and held.
3. RESOLVED: owner confirmed Rs200 **608276** is correct and held; curved mark is not cancellation.
4. RESOLVED: owner confirmed Rs200 **730701–730800** is held despite adjacent X; both endpoints included.
5. RESOLVED: 886001–886100 is owner-confirmed held as Rs100. Owner requested **156940 / 916945** ignored for now, outside matching.
6. RESOLVED: owner confirmed Photo 2 C3 R10 **691359** and R17 **740026** as correct and held; both included.
7. RESOLVED: owner confirmed Photo 4 C2 R15 **954300** and C4 R13 **103837** as correct and held; both included.
8. RESOLVED: owner confirmed the entire Rs15000 right-margin block **853963, 969055, 969012, 256991, 256992, 256993, 256994, 828713** cancelled. The original active Rs15000 969055 seed occurrence is now excluded too. Lower-right block is owner-identified **Rs7500**, cancelled; it had no active Rs7500 records and does not cancel main Rs750 entries. No uncertain crossed digits are inferred as new holdings.
9. Quantity annotation RESOLVED: owner confirmed circled 2 beside Photo 1 **774501–774600** is casual and ignored; quantity remains 1. Photo 7 margin **737693** is owner-confirmed as a reference inside 737601–737700, not an extra holding or quantity. No past winnings are inferred. Photo 5 repeated 369001–369100 is explicitly labelled “Same Series” and treated as a reference, not an extra set.

All listed source/ownership questions are now resolved by clear photos or direct owner instructions. Ignored/cancelled inscriptions remain outside matching; this is not a guarantee about unrelated future edits or official prizes.

## Browser data migration

The storage key and diary schema remain compatible. Only unchanged original seed tuples are targeted. Custom/edited numbers and sources survive; quantity/status conflicts become inactive review rather than silent replacement. Multiple indistinguishable records also become review without changing digits/quantities. Omitted entries are not added twice if a manual copy might already represent them. Old data is backed up under a separate browser key where storage permits. Migration is idempotent, including re-imports of old backups. No website server can verify every visitor's browser-local edits.

## Draw/matching verification

Both manual and live paths use exact six-digit strings, preserve leading zeros, include both range endpoints, isolate denominations and ignore inactive records/quantities. Source parsing requires all three declared prize-tier counts and matching draw identity/date; future dates are filtered. Published draw date and fetch time are separately displayed. A fresh request does not guarantee the source has published a scheduled new draw. The complete source list, rather than arbitrary metadata numbers, is checked.

Full entry-by-entry source ledger: **diary-audit-ledger.csv**. Verified live results and updated match counts are reported with the deployment verification; no older match count is treated as proof of transcription accuracy.

The supplied Rs200 third-tier fixture was re-run after the audited changes: 2,394 exact tokens; confirmed matches remain **162329, 730520, 730627, 775617, 775858**. This comparison does not verify photo transcription on its own.

## Final margin cancellation scope

The Rs15000 block is owner-confirmed cancelled. Its matching original seeded 969055 is excluded. The lower-right Rs7500 block was never included in active holdings; it remains excluded, without guessing scratched digits. Rs750 holdings 371880, 382581 and 961636 are separate denomination entries and are retained. Inscriptions 156940 and 916945 are ignored at owner request.
